By accessing and using TermTracker ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

TermTracker is a web-based service that monitors websites for changes to their terms and conditions, privacy policies, and other legal documents. The service provides notifications when changes are detected.

3. User Account

To use TermTracker, you must:

  • Create an account using Google OAuth authentication
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TermTracker only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Monitor websites without proper authorization
  • Use the service to violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to access or tamper with our systems
  • Use the service in any way that could damage or impair our servers
  • Upload or monitor malicious content
  • Violate the terms of service of websites you monitor

5. Service Limitations

TermTracker is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Service availability or uptime
  • Accuracy of change detection
  • Completeness of monitored content
  • Timeliness of notifications

Users are limited to monitoring 10 URLs per account.

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

TermTracker and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TermTracker and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any URLs and metadata you provide. TermTracker stores copies of monitored web content solely for the purpose of change detection and comparison.

9. Service Modification and Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the service at any time
  • Terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Change these terms with reasonable notice
  • Limit or restrict access to certain features

10. Disclaimers

TermTracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or completeness of data

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TermTracker be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TermTracker from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to users via email or prominent notice on the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
